1UZ-FE to R154 Bellhousing

How to lose 6 weeks of a conversion

Slave Cylinder This is the reason why they didn't want to see any more of my "modified" gearbox. As soon as they heard that the slave cylinder on the spline they tried to tell me the spline was the wrong length. After going back and measuring everything and eventually bringing the gearbox to Dellow Automotive to show them they STILL would not admit they had made a mistake.

Belhousing is 15mm short We then spent a whole sunday making a 15mm spacer out of the 7M to R154 belhousing, this was cut with an angle grinder and then filed/grinded down until it was perfectly flat the whole way around. Longer bolts were used to hold it with the new belhousing to the gearbox.

Belhousing connected Finally after over 6 weeks waiting for the bellhousing and another 2 weekends work making the spacer it went together beautifully and held the gearbox snugly onto the back of the mighty V8
