The GT Limited Supras all have automatic gearboxes (GT - Grand Touring). When I bought my surpa it already had been converted to a Supra Turbo R154 5 speed manual gearbox. When doing the conversion to the new engine I decided to keep the car manual so a custom bellhousing was made to suit the lexus V8 and house my twin plate clutch.

The R154 gearboxes are world renouned for being extreemly tough. They can often be found behind high powered V8 drag cars and other high powered turboed cars that put out torque that would make mince meat out of other inferior gearboxes.
